綱：細胞口は前端部、ないしその近傍にある。細胞体の周囲にbrosse of kinetidsがある。 突出体として、extraoral toxicystsをもつ。

亜綱：自由遊泳種 (?)。 細胞口は前端部にある。口部域には brosse kinetidsも toxicystsもない。 body kinetiesは bipolar。

科：自由遊泳をする。body kinetiesの多くは bipoloar。細胞口は先端部にある。

属：細胞口は窪んでいない。
