リンコモナス属　Rhynchomomas

亜目/科：細胞体のくぼみから１〜２本の鞭毛がでる。鞭毛には、 アクソネーム（axoneme）の他に paraxial rod がある。
単一のミトコンドリアをもち、１本の管状、軸状、分岐した網状構造をしている。その一端にフォイルゲン反応 陽性のキネトプラストがある。 キネトプラストは鞭毛の基部にある 生毛体（blepharoplast）の近くにある。
ゴルジ体も細胞体のくぼみにあるが、生毛体、鞭毛とはつながっていない。
淡水性で主に自由生活をする。

属：キネトプラストは１個。細胞口は先端部にある口吻（proboscis）の側にある。 口吻は先端部の鞭毛と一緒に動く。

R. nasuta	細胞体は扁平な卵形, 長さ 5-6 μm, 幅 2-3 μm; 淡水性 (Kudo, 1966).
R. marina	海水性 (Kudo, 1966).
