Porosporicae上科

昆虫などの節足動物や環形動物の消化管内やその他の体腔に寄生する。成熟したガモント（gamont, 有性配偶子 母細胞；ガメトサイト gametocyteともいう）は大きく細胞外にすむ。この時期をスポラディン（sporadin）期 とよび、もっとも検出されやすい。
ガモントは雌雄の二つが縦につながった状態（連接, syzygy）になることがある。雌雄のガメートはほぼ同形。 オーシスト（oocyst）はgametocyst内で作られる。一般に中間宿主をもたない（homoxenous）。
メロゴニーを欠く。ほとんどのものが環形動物、節足動物寄生である。 （「原生動物図鑑」より）
