亜目： 細胞は三角形に近い。仮足は突起状で透明。その先端部は丸みを帯びている。移動時の hyaline lobeは分岐しない。 核分裂は通常 mesomitotic。

科： 細胞は三角形ないしヘラ状。先端部の丸い細い仮足の長さはほぼ一定。paranuclear body がない。淡水と海水に棲息。 from 「An Illustrated Guide to the Protozoa」

属： 移動時の仮足は先端部の透明な縁だけでなく細胞体からもできる。
仮足は顆粒を含み，先端部だけが透明。 顆粒を含む仮足は弓なりで，先端部が締まる。body passed through it.
