Mayorella 亜目： 細胞は三角形に近い。仮足は突起状で透明。その先端部は丸みを帯びている。移動時の hyaline lobeは分岐しない。 核分裂は通常 mesomitotic。
科： 細胞は三角形ないしヘラ状。先端部の丸い細い仮足の長さはほぼ一定。paranuclear body がない。淡水と海水に棲息。

属： 移動時の仮足は先端部の透明な縁からできる。 仮足基部の巾は広い。

Group I-bの特徴：
亜仮足（sub-pseudopodia）は尖っている（digitiform cones）が， 素早く動く際には消失する。
floating formsは長い尖った仮足を放射状に出す。最大長さは60μｍ以下。
M. microeruca, M. cultura, M. spatula, M. oclawaha, M. riparia, M. bicornifrons, M. ambulans

M. microeruca 長さは20-30μｍ。長く伸びた円筒状。側方から突起状の仮足がでる。
floating formは放射状の長い仮足を出さない。核は1.7μｍ。
M. cultura 先端部には常に突起状の仮足がある。表面が滑らかな楕円形のシストを作る。
長さは20-30μｍ。L/B値は2。対になった仮足の間には hyaline webがある。
floating formは長い仮足を出さない。核は3.5-7.5μｍ。
M. spatula 先端部には常に突起状の仮足がある。シストは作らない。
長さは12-20μｍ。L/B値は3。 早く動いている際の仮足は hyaline waveと一緒に形成される。 floating formは長い放射状の仮足を出す。核は1.3-1.4μｍ。
M. oclawaha 先端部には常に突起状の仮足がある。シストは作らない。
floating formは長く細い放射状の仮足を出す。
長さは30-50μｍ。L/B値は2以上。核は3.5μｍ。
M. riparia 先端部には常に突起状の仮足がある。シストは作らない。
floating formは長く細い放射状の仮足を出す。
幅広い hyaline zoneから仮足が突き出す。クリスタルはない。
長さは20-55μｍ。L/B値は3以上。核は3.7-6.0μｍ。
M. bicornifrons 先端部には常に突起状の仮足がある。シストは作らない。
floating formは長く細い放射状の仮足を出さない。
長さは20-50μｍ。先端部からは仮足が対になって出る他に，１対が背中から上方に向かって伸びる。 floating formは spherical with bulges。核は4-4.5μｍ。
M. ambulans 先端部には常に突起状の仮足がある。シストは作らない。
floating formは長く細い放射状の仮足を出さない。
長さは25-70μｍ。早く動くときの細胞形は舌状。先端部からは対になった仮足が出る。 仮足どうしは web-like sheet でつながっている。核は3-4μｍ。
