細胞は三角形に近い。仮足は突起状で透明。その先端部は丸みを帯びている。移動時の hyaline lobeは分岐しない。 核分裂は通常 mesomitotic。

形態は同じだが，paranuclear bodyを持つ。海産。 from 「An Illustrated Guide to the Protozoa」
