繊毛が集まった棘毛（cirri）が細胞表面全体にある。上下に押しつぶされた形をしている。 口部繊毛の左側は、polykinetidsによる collar ないしは lapel を形成する。各々は kinetosomeが 2 or 2.5 列 配列する。口部の右側の繊毛の形態は様々で１〜数個の paroral kinetiesからなる。

腹側前方の棘毛は1本ないし多数の短い fileを形成する。
（Frontventral cirriが２列またはそれ以上の列できちんと並んで配列している。）
各fileはジグザグ状で腹側全長に及ぶ。
右側 marginal fileの先端部左に 2つの migratory cirriがある。

前方の棘毛（Frontal cirri）と frontventral cirriはほぼ同じ。
右縁から"collar"がやや伸長している。口部域はＵ字形。
左側の files of cirri は2〜7本；右側は数本。
