スチコロンケ目　Taxopodida

綱：細胞の全周囲に放射状に 有軸仮足をだす。 この仮足は顆粒を含み、しばしば吻合する。 有軸仮足以外に、糸状仮足や一時的に葉状仮足を形成するものもいる。 突出体（放出体, extrusome）として， キネトシスト（kinetocyst, conicyst） をもつ。大部分は淡水性。

目：軸足の形成部位は核膜ないしはその周辺部にある。 MTOC は核膜の外膜になる caveolaeに挿入された層状の dense plaques。
Rowing axopoia ?。不規則な hexagonal flooring pattern。先がやや脹らんだ槍状の棘をもつ。海洋性。
