綱：糸状の仮足をもつ。 有軸仮足は形成しない。
目：細胞の周囲に殻や厚膜をつくる。明瞭な開口がある。有殻アメーバの一部。
亜目：殻に鱗片（scale）はないが，顆粒や棘，ゴミなどが付着している。

科：殻（Test）は丸い。 殻は肉厚で硬い。with rodlike radial structures

グロミア属 　Gromia

殻（test）は薄く，球形ないし長い楕円体。pseudostomeは末端にある。 たくさんのfilopodiaは分枝したり融合したりする。
