真正眼点藻植物　Eustigmatophyceae

黄緑色の運動しない球形の栄養細胞と、性のない遊走子で繁殖する。
このため最近まで黄緑藻植物（黄緑色植物）に入れられていた。 しかし、電子顕微鏡により細胞内に眼点があることがあったため運動性の独立した群とみなされるようになった。
