Closterium intermedium Species [var. intermedium]: Cell body slightly curved, central region not swelled (inner side slightly concave), both ends broadly truncated with slanted edges, 76-(200-300)-470 μm long, 14-(17-22)-25 μm wide, L/W=6-15; cell wall brownish in color, with bands and lined (6-10 lines within 10 μm)
