Chlamydomonas Species: Cell body spherical, 8-12(-14) μm in diam.; conical papilla conspicuous; chloroplast cup-shaped; a pyrenoid depressed, located at posterior half of the cell body; a nucleus located anterior; a large elliptical stigma at equator or slightly posterior; (Süßwasserflora von Mitteleuropa 9, Chlorophyta I, 1983).
