Euglypha tuberculata Genus: Test round or oval in cross-section; pseudostome terminal with dentate scales.
Species: Test elongate-oviform with hemispherical crown, not compressed, 45-100 μm long, 24-50 μm wide; pseudostome circular, 10-20 μm diam.; body scales circular to broadly oval in shape, 8-12 in each row, 10-16 μm long (Cash & Wailes, 1915).

Euglypha aspera Penard, 1902: Test ovoid, no spines, 135-165 μm long, 83-50 μm diam; pseudostome, 35-40 μm diam. (Illustrated Guide, 1985).

Euglypha scutigera Penard: Test oviform, not compressed, 75-90 μm long, 45-55 μm wide; pseudostome circular, 14-20 μm diam.; body scales scutiform, 10-12 in each row, 11-12 μm long, 8-10 μm wide (Cash & Wailes, 1915).

Euglypha tuberculata Dujardin: Test elongate-oviform with hemispherical crown, not compressed, 45-100 μm long, 24-50 μm wide; pseudostome circular, 10-20 μm diam.; body scales circular to broadly oval in shape, 8-12 in each row, 10-16 μm long (Cash & Wailes, 1915).

Euglypha tuberculata var. minor: Test 28-40 μm long, 14-20 μm wide (Cash & Wailes, 1915).

Euglypha rotunda Wailes: Test small, oviform, moderately compressed, 22-52 μm long, width 0.5-0.7 of the length; pseudostome circular, 6-12 μm diam.; body scales oval, about twice as long as broad, 5-8 μm long, 2.5-4 μm wide, (Cash & Wailes, 1915).
