Test braodly oviform or pyriform, dorso-ventrally compressed, transverse section ellioptical,
45-100 μm long, 30-60 μm wide; many hairly projections at periphery;
pseudostome circular (cf. E. ciliata, E. compressa) bordered by 10-14 denticulated,
thickened scales, 12-23 μm;
body scales 7-10.5 μm long, 4.5-5.5 μm wide
