Mallomonas splendens Genus: Body elongated; with silicious scales and often spines; two chloroplasts rod-shaped (Kudo, 1966).
Species: Cell body cylindrical, 28-56 μm long, 9-16 μm wide; (Süßwasserflora von Mitteleuropa 1, Chrysophyceae und Haptophyceae, 1985).
