Family: Frontoventral cirri scattered on forward part, sometimes on rear part; never on mid area of ventrum (Illustrated Guide, 1985). Genus: Elongate, narrowed posteriorly to form a pointed tail; dorsoventrally flattened; AZM small, 1/4 body length; marginal cirri confluent posteriorly; two macronuclei (Carey, 1992).
