Family: Body long, flat, with beak-like anterior rostrum; oral area in long ventral groove behind rostrum Müllerian vesicles in endoplasm.
Genus: Oral area long, leads into tublra cavity not lined by extensions of ora ldikinetids (Illustrated Guide, 1985). Resembling Loxodes; internal skeleton of spicules or spindle-shaped rods distributed throught body; tendency to form a distinct tail region; long cytostome darkly pigmented (Carey, 1992).
