Filamoeba Family: Oval to flattened, or elongated; thin to spiny pseudopodia; endocysts not polygonal; lack opercula (Illustrated Guide, 1985).
Genus: Pseudopods long, numerous, formed from hyaline zones (Illustrated Guide, 1985). Pseudopods not anastomosing.
