P. reticulata: 55-70 μm long, 25-30 μm wide; test yellow, ovoid; pseudostome flared, round, 12-14 μm; nucleus spherical, 15-20 μm (Illustrated Guide, 1985).

Similar Species (or synonym ?) :
Euglypha mucronata Leidy: Test large, 100-150 μm long, 30-60 μm wide; fundus conical with one to two terminal spines (12-44 μm long); pseudostome round, bordered by a single row of 6-8 denticulate scales (Kudo, 1966).
