Family: Test usually more or less compressed; pseudostome narrowly oval or slit-like.
Genus: Test more or less flask-shaped, with more or less neck (Illustrated Guide, 1985).
Species: Test 140-280 μm long, 90-170 μm wide,
40-80 μm in thickness; with flange compressed to thin shelf, usually not extended along neck,
pseudostome 28-50 &956;m long, 12-15 μm wide
(Illustrated Guide, 1985).
