Euglypha rotunda Family: Scales round to elliptical, thin.
Genus: Test round or oval in cross-section; pseudostome terminal with dentate scales.

Species: Test oviform without spines, moderately compressed, 22-52 μm long, width 0.5-0.7 of the length; pseudostome circular, 6-12 μm diam.; body scales circular to broadly oval in shape, 5-8 in each row, 2.5-4 μm long (Cash & Herbert, 1915).
