Euglypha filifera Genus: Test round or oval in cross-section; pseudostome terminal with dentate scales (Illustrated Guide, 1985).
Species: Test 55-70 μm long; cross-section at greatest breadth, 25-35 μm by 12-20 μm; test long oval, cross section elliptical; body scales long ellipses; spines along lateral border, between scales, many bifurcate, 12-25 μm long; pseudostome with finely dentate border (Illustrated Guide, 1985).
