Difflugia tuberculata Genus: Pseudostome lacks lobed collar; test round or oval in cross-section; pseudostome relatively large, with or lacking a collar (Illustrated Guide, 1985).
Species: 70-150 μm long; 50-130 μm diam.; test like D. lobostoma but of clear tubercules with imbedded quartz granules; pseudostome polygonal, not lobed, 20-50 μm diam., on short collar (Illustrated Guide, 1985).

D. lobostoma Leidy, 1879: Test ovoid to subspherical; aperture terminal; with three to six lobes; 80-120 μm diam. (Kudo, 1966).
