Species: Trichome pale bluegreen, or yellowish green, septum not constricted, not attenuated toward ends, both ends rounded, 2.5-4 μm long, 2.5-3.5 μm wide; cell body containing granules (Illustrations of The Japanese Fresh-water Algae, 1977).
