Cephalothamnium cyclopum

Genus: Colonial, without lorica; cell body 5-10 micron long, indivuduals clusterd at the end of a stalk; fresh water (Kudo, 1966). Colonies of 30 or more flagelaltes attached by their posterior ends to a secreted stalk (Illustrated Guide, 1985).
Species: Cell body 5-10 micron long, attached to Cyclops and also among plankton (Kudo, 1966).
