Trithigmostoma piscataris
Syn.: Chilodonella piscataris

Trithigmostoma Genus: Right ventral body kineties extend directly backward; left ventral body kineties complete (Illustrated Guide, 1985). Morphologicall similar to Chilodonella but possesses a row of bristles on the dorsal anterior surface; cytostome oval with a protrusable cytopharyngeal basket; many contractile vacuoles (Carey, 1992).

Species: Cell body 75 μm long (Kahl, 1930).
