Rhabdostyla Family: Stalkless; cell body drawn out; in some species it appear stalklike at rear; peristomal disc not stalked (Illustrated Guide, 1985).
Genus: No trochal band when mature; macronucleus long, often C-shaped (Illustrated Guide, 1985).

Species: Cell body 60 μm long (Kahl, 1930).
