Genus: Flask-shaped; elongate, flattened; anterior region neck-like; cilia only on right side; without trichocyst-borders; cytostome with trichocysts; two macronuclei (Kudo, 1966).
Species: Cell body 120-220 μm long (Kahl, 1930).
