Coleps elongatus
(Ehrenberg, 1830) Kahl, 1930

Coleps Species [C. elongatus]: Cell body barrel-shaped but rather cylindrical, 65-80 μm long; a few spines at posterior end; two caudal cilia present; ectoplasmic plates ornamented by 2 lateral teeth (Carey, 1992).
Cell body 40-55 μm long, about 13 (or 14-17) rows of platelets; three posterior spines (Kudo, 1966).
