Cosmarium pyramidatum Species: Cell body 58-(64.5-95)-100 μm long, (42-56)-62 μm wide, isthmus (14-19)-20 μm wide, L/W=1.5; semicells pyramidal in shape, with flattened apex, basal corner rounded, side and apical view elliptical; cell wall dotted (Illustrations of The Japanese Fresh-water Algae, 1977).
