Species: Cell body ellipsoidal in shape,
10-12 μm long, 5-7 μm wide; with 4-5 spiny projections at both ends;

Cell body ellipsoidal to broad ellipsoidal, 5-12 μm long, 2.5-8 μm in diam.;
