Chloromonas hypolimnica
(Skuja) Gerloff et Ettl in Ettl 1970

Species: Cell body inverted ovoid or ellipsoidal, both ends rounded, 17-20 μm long, 12-15 μm wide; papilla present (conical in shape); flagella about 1.5 times longer than the cell body; chloroplast cup-shaped; stigma elliptical, at equator or slightly anterior from it; nucleus centrally located; cytoplasm with many small spheres (Süßwasserflora von Mitteleuropa 9, Chlorophyta I, 1983).
