Chlamydomonas Species: Cell body elongated ellipsoidal or cylindrical, 22-41 μm long, 15-27 μm wide; papilla absent; chloroplast with many pyrenoids; stigma large, elliptical in shape, located near equatorial line (Süßwasserflora von Mitteleuropa 9, Chlorophyta I, 1983).
