Chloromonas Species: Cell body broad ellipsoidal, up to 9 μm long, 4 μm wide; papilla absent; stigma located at anterior half of the cell; a chloroplast lateral, with a pyrenoid; (Süßwasserflora von Mitteleuropa 9, Chlorophyta I, 1983).
