Genus: Body spheroid with gelatinous coat (Illustrated Guide, 1985).
Species: Body spheroid 12-25 μm diam., with getatinous coat 8 μm thick; axopods extend from central granule (centroplast), each 40 μm long, slender, with rafractile granules along them (Illustrated Guide, 1985).
