Euglena tripteris
(Dujardin) Klebs, 1883

Euglena tripteris Species: 70-120 μm long, 12-16 μm wide; elongate; three-ridged, rounded anteriorly and drawn out posteriorly; pellicle longitudinally striated; discoid chloroplasts numerous; two rod-shaped paramylon (paramylum) bodies (Kudo, 1966). 90-100 μm long; body twisted, with three longitudinal ridges (How to know the protozoa, 1979).
