Vannella simplex Genus: Body fan-shaped in locomotion; Anterior, clear fan lacks bosses (Illustrated Guide, 1985).
Species: 35-80 μm wide in locomotion; L/B < 0.5; hyaline veil sometimes only along front; nucleus 7.7-10.8 μm (Page, 1976).
