Polychaos timidum Genus: Pseudopods meld at bases during polypodial locomotion; nucleus oval (Illustrated Guide, 1985). Usually polypodial; pseudopodia sometimes flattening and broadening towards ends; may be monopodial in rapid locomotion; no dorsal ridges (Page, 1976).
Species: Palmate form 45-60 μm; monopodial form 80-100 μm; nucleus 6.5-7 μm (Page, 1976).
