Lingulamoeba Family: Small, less than 50 μm; oblong to ovate; ridges faint or absent.
Genus: Body tongue-shaped in locomotion (Illustrated Guide, 1985).

Locomotive, lingulate 16-23 μm long, 12.5-17 μm wide; uroid temporary; ectoplasm clear, pale as anterior half of locomotive body; nucleus indistinct, spherical, 2.5 μm; endosome, 1.0 μm; contractile vacuole none (Illustrated Guide, 1985).
