Euglypha bryophila Species: Test small, hyaline, oviform, sligthly compressed, 35-52 μm long, breadth 0.5-0.6 of the length; thickness 0.8-0.85 of the breadth; pseudostome 7-10 μm wide; body scales 7-9 μm long, 5 μm wide (Cash & Wailes, The British Freshwater Rhizopoda and Heliozoa vol. III, 1915).

Euglypha strigosa (Ehrenberg) Leidy: Test braodly oviform or pyriform, dorso-ventrally compressed, transverse section ellioptical, 45-100 μm long, 30-60 μm wide; many hairly projections at periphery; pseudostome circular bordered by 10-14 denticulated scales, 12-23 μm; body scales 7-10.5 μm long, 4.5-5.5 μm wide (Cash & Wailes, 1915).

Euglypha compressa Carter: Test broadly oviform, truncate, cosiderably compressed, transverse section lenticular with acute margins, spines at periphery, 5-35 μm long; 70-132 μm long, 40-80 μm wide; pseudostome elliptical, 18-28 μm; body scales 9-12 μm long (Cash & Wailes, 1915).
