Cochliopodium minus Genus: Tectum flexible, punctate, spiny or folded; body mound-like in locomotion; pseudopods clear, conical, under or through tectum (Illustrated Guide, 1985).
Species: Disc-like in locomotion; anterior hyaloplasmic border sometimes producing short, finely conical pseudopodia; posterior border sometimes trailing short filaments; 14.5-38.5 μm in locomotion, usually 19-38 μm; nucleus, 4.8-6.9 μm (Page, 1976).
