Clydonella vivax

Clydonella vivax Family: Small, less than 50 μm; oblong to ovate; ridges faint or absent.
Genus: Body ovate in locomotion, longer than broad, with clear zone as anterior part; uninucleate (Illustrated Guide, 1985).

Species: Locomotive 8-12 μm long, 8-12 μm wide (Illustrated Guide, 1985; How to know the protozoa, 1979). Body long-ovoid to fan-shaped; without pseudopodia in locomotion; clear, thin anterolateral margin; nucleus 2 μm diam., endosome one μm (How to know the protozoa, 1979).
