(recurrent flagellum); flagella orininate in anterior end; one to several contractile vacuoles (Kudo, 1966). Genus: Body small, rigid; ventral furrow conspicuous, wide at anterior end; one flagellum arises from anterior end and the other from middle of body; fresh water (Kudo, 1966).
