cell body ovoid or pear-shaped, slightly asymmetrical, posteriorly narrowed, but not drown out, 
10-25 μm long; cellwall thin; flagella 1.5 times longer than the cell body; 
chloroplast cup-shaped; stigma located around the backward-inclined area of the cell
