Trachelophyllum sp.
Claparède and Lachmann, 1859

Trachelophyllum Genus: Elongate, flattened; flexible, ribbon-like; anterior end neck-like and tip truncate; cytopharynx narrow, with trichocysts; two macronuclei; contractile terminal (Kudo, 1966). Apex a low dome, not ventrally bent; body much flattened (Illustrated Guide, 1985). Neck is truncated transversely and carries a short snout-like tip (Carey, 1992).
