Tokophrya quadripartita Genus: Pyriform or pyramidal; without lorica; tentacles in 1-4 fascicles on anterior surface; stalk not rigid; simple endogenous budding; fresh water (Kudo, 1966). Tentacles emerge from distal, bullbous processes (Illustrated Guide, 1985).
Specis: body 100-175 μm long; with sucking tentacles in four groups (How to know the protozoa, 1979).
