Bresslaua Family: Body often reniform; with ciliary rows making asymmetrical patterns; division within reproductive cysts (Kudo,1966).
Genus: Like Colpoda, but with larger mouth, and a large postoral vesicle (How to know the protozoa, 1979). Oral cavity expanded broadly to left side (Illustrated Guide, 1985).
