Marubaasagao Common morning glory Ipomoea purpurea (= Pharbitis purpurea)

Chromosome and Karyotype, Chromosomes and karyotype

Karyotype is investigated on the basis of chromosome configurations (Kawamura & Yoneda original figure). Three pairs of SAT chromosomes were observed. The relation between this karyotype and that of Ipomoea nil is not clear.
