Corolla extremely light blue. Though it feels feeble to the touch, the flower's durability is very good. It was this African strain that was crossed with Marubaasagao Common morning glory first in the course of interspecific hybrid breeding. The author brought up Youjiro (Ray white) morning glory on the basis of the interspecific hybrid. The reason for its excellent flower durability in the selection processes might be due to the durability of the African strain. Because several flower buds develop in one peduncle, the number of flowers increases as a whole. Calyx and stems with light-brownish epidermal hairs. (458-7 1986.8.20 photo by YY)
