Morning glory Ipomoea nil (= Pharbitis nil)

Africa-1, Panoramic view

Copyright 1998-2017 Yoshiaki Yoneda

Leaves, three-pointed, the cut between lobes fairly shallow, resembling the shape of retracted (Suhama) a little. Etremely late flowering, begins to open from the middle of September under natural conditions at Shizuoka city. Corolla sky blue. Because several flower buds develop in one inflorescence, the number of flowers increases as a whole. Calyx and stems with light-brownish epidermal hairs. (458-6 1986.8.20 photo by YY)
